Life IS [good]...

Hello hello,

It's Monday, October 6th. Wow, this week has been full of exams,homework, drawing on chests, spray painting cardboard top hats, cooking, funeral, conference,callings,family, crying and laughs.

haha allow me to explain.....

* So, I have only been in Relief Society for 6 months and don't know what I'm doing... But I have been called as the 1st Counciler in one of the Relief Society Presidencies in my ward. The Cedar City University, 11th Ward. We have gone around a few time and met all of our girls, it's fun to get to know people.. Let's just hope I can get the hang of this Relief Society thing!

* Last Monday, Royce and Eric ran over in a panic wanting us to help them with their costumes. haha we were put in charge of drawing faces on their chests haha well Kim Duke drew on their chests..




* Speed.. I challenged Ryno to a game of speed. I won 6 games!! that's right.. Thanks to my Grandpa Eastham, i play i mean game of speed :D


*Tuesday: "DINNER'S SERVED"! I made Chicken Bowls.. yum.. I had been craving it. Oh did it taste so good :D felt like home..:D we invited the boys (apt.19) to come over and eat with us. Dinner was a hit! thanks mom!! :D

*Wednesday!: I did it! I actually dyed my hair! I was so sad that my hair was going lighter and took Amanda's offer to dye my hair for FREE!! So I went in, knowing that this was her 1st day of coloring... I absolutley love it!! :D what a good little hair dresser I have for a roommate!

*Thursday: After class, I came home and made a cake with Royce and Michelle. It was Corey's birthday.. what good neighbors we are. I know.. I left for home.. The 3 hour drive isn't bad.. just gets boring. Not much of a scenic route! haha but I sang along to some good music and made it home.
D and I went to JCW for dinner! ah.. I love that place. I saw my good friend KP! <3 her!


*Friday: Today was Uncle David Fagan's funeral. He was 59 years old. Died from complications of diabetes. With his passing and the funeral it has made me think again about how blessed I am to have an eternal family and to know that families are forever. There is more than just this life. Uncle Dave was a good man and I will miss him very much! I am so grateful to have a close family like I do!!

Friday night with mom :D shopping!! sadly.. we left with nothing in hand! so weird for us! haha I then went over to Jenica's! I have missed her oh so much! It was so good to chat with her! I cannot wait until Halloween weekend!! she's coming to stay with me!! wooot!!!


*Saturday/Sunday: General Conference! love conference weekend!
I got to go and run errands with my dad :D Packed my winter clothes to take to Cedar.Stayed up late with D and Lu and shopped with mom :) great weekend!!

*Last week, I got a letter in the mail from ELDER PACKER!! ah.. :) I was so excited I couldn't keep it contained. I jumped up and started screaming. He is doing great, in Missionary Mode for sure! Only 4 months left until he comes home! how crazy is that!?!


Life is going great! just got caught up on homework from missing last Friday and the procrastination from before. :) Michelle and I spent 3 hours in the living room studying... big pat on the back for us!

I love my life. I have been so blessed I can't even describe how grateful I am! I love my family, friends, roommates, and I know that everything happens for a reason, we can learn something from everything that we go through and that life is all about what you make it!
